Christ-Centered Books wants to make its affiliate program as simple and easy as possible.
Here are the agreed upon terms when you register as an affiliate:
- Every affiliate has a storewide 50% commission for each purchase
- The commission is based on the final price of the book or book deal
- There’s a 30-day refund policy which could effect your commission
- Your affiliate account does include a “lifetime referral commission”
- You will be paid each time after you’ve reached $50.00 in commission
- Your affiliation will end if there’s no sale within a twelve month period
- Each affiliate is responsible for their taxes and relevant IRS reporting
IMPORTANT: If your commission is $600 or more in a year, Christ-Centered Books will issue you IRS form 1099-NEC, which requires your full address and Tax Identification Number (TIN). By registering as an affiliate, you commit to providing this information within ten business days after your commission has exceeded the $600 for the year. Failure to do so will result in a suspension, which includes freezing your commission payments that are still due, until the required information has been received.
IMPORTANT: If you are an international affiliate (someone who isn’t a U.S. citizen or U.S. resident), you must submit IRS form W-8 BEN to Christ-Centered Books before you will receive commission. By registering as an affiliate, you commit to providing this form. Also, international affiliates are required to pay a flat 30% tax to the U.S. government, unless a tax treaty between the two countries specify a lower rate. The required 30% government tax will be withheld from each commission payment.
IMPORTANT: Your “lifetime referral commission” means that each first-time buyer through your affiliate link will be permanently linked to your affiliate account – for all their future purchases.
IMPORTANT: You will be paid each time after you’ve reached $50.00 in commission. Due to the number of affiliates, you’re responsible to notify Christ-Centered Books when your commission has exceeded the $50.00. The payment will be made within ten business days after your notification. The $50.00 minimum payout is set in order to prevent a lot of extra work with numerous small payouts. There are no payouts if the commission is less than $50.00.
It is assumed and expected that all affiliates will share the affiliate links with honesty and integrity. This includes how affiliates communicate about and represent Christ-Centered Books.
If there’s any doubt that the links aren’t shared with honesty and integrity, or if there has been any improper communication about or misrepresentation of Christ-Centered Books, the issue will be investigated. If there has been an infraction, the affiliate will receive a warning. After a second infraction, the affiliate will be banned from being an affiliate (the affiliate will still receive all the commission that is due until the date of the ban).
By registering as an affiliate, you agree with all the terms on this page, including that you won’t receive any payout unless your commission is at least $50.00 each time.
