Frederick Brotherton Meyer was born in England in 1847 and died in 1929. While his ministry was primarily in the U.K., he was also active in the United States. He was part of the Higher Life Movement, known for the doctrine of entire sanctification, which is not without legitimate concern.

One of his major works is a devotional commentary on the whole Bible. While it is not an in-depth commentary, F.B. Meyer gives us an excellent overview of the entire Scriptures with great insights.
