While Feathers for Arrows was specifically written for preachers and teachers, containing illustrations for the communication (and understanding) of God’s word, it is also excellent for everyone who wants to have (physical) illustrations of spiritual truths.
While some of them may be outdated, they can certainly trigger our thoughts for similar ones. As always, Spurgeon gives us great gold nuggets in this almost 200-page book of feathers (Illustrations) for arrows (God’s truth).
