Description
Farm Sermons contains nineteen sermons by the Prince of Preachers, Charles Spurgeon. Each sermon is related to sowing and reaping. You’ll be greatly challenged and encouraged, from ploughing the field to reaping the harvest—from preparation to satisfaction.
Since we live in an instant-society, these sermons are an important reminder that sowing and reaping do not come by happenstance. Instead, they come through hard labor that requires purposeful determination and persistence. In the end, though, all the work will be more than worth it.
As Christians, we are called to plant and water. The growth, however, is entirely dependent on God. These sermons highlight our utter dependence on Him for all the results of our labor. He alone can provide the rain for fruitful seasons. He alone can give the reward for our work.
