There can be much that divides us as Christians, whether social-economical, geographical, denominational, or secondary theological positions. Yet, there is one eternal reality that undividedly unites us, both now and forevermore: the person and work of Jesus Christ.
One is either "in Christ Jesus," having eternal redemption from one's sins and God's righteous judgment "by his grace as a gift" (Rom. 3:24), or one is "separated from Christ . . . having no hope and without God in the world" (Eph. 2:12). There's no alternative; everything stands or falls with being "in Christ Jesus."
Since the person and work of Jesus Christ unites us, having been graciously adopted into God's family, we must, first of all, seek the common denominator of our faith, "with all humility and gentleness, with patience, bearing with one another in love, eager to maintain the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace" (Eph. 4:2-3).
At the core of this union is also the firm conviction that the Bible is God's inspired, infallible, and inerrant word, to which we must submit when it comes to all doctrine and practice, even though we may greatly disagree on secondary positions at times. The "bloodline" outweighs everything.
Furthermore, when Jesus ascended to the Father, He gave a commission, which is a "duty given to a person or group of people." He said: "Go into all the world and proclaim the gospel to the whole creation. Whoever believes and is baptized will be saved, but whoever does not believe will be condemned" (Mark 16:15-16).
In a political-correct, pluralistic society, we must hold fast to the truth of the gospel - Jesus' virgin birth, righteous life, sacrificial death, and glorious resurrection - whereby He emphasized only two options: to believe and be eternally saved, or to not believe and be eternally condemned. As Christians, we must unite around His mandate. The stakes are simply too high to not do so.
The main goal of Christ-Centered Books is to offer a free, simple, and easy way to raise funds for the spread of His gospel through reputable ministries, to those who hold fast to His commission. Will you join me in doing so?
You can freely use this fundraiser for your own ministry or a ministry of your choice. When you share one of the faith-encouraging books with your audience, the ministry will receive 75% royalty for each sold book.
